Serenade…

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

For those times when it seems all is going its own several ways, I’m remembering this old Christain song by Philip P. Bliss (1876 ), It is well with my soul.
