Somehow, I have being finding it harder to explain the concept of Life’s emptiness, it’s purposeless and how we are, as humans not different from a goat, or a cow, or chicken (I don’t mean physically, obviously). Actually, George Carlin noted in wit, Life has no sanctity. Sanctity in lief is just what we create to make ourselves feel better about how far along we’ve come.
We humans have come very far along, in every sense of the it. That’s why it’s hard to imagine how purposeless life is. Let’s think of the early man who all he looks forward to is the meal he needs to survive the next few hours or some while and hopes a stronger predator doesn’t eat him — that isn’t very much different from what other animals do — survival.
Why I’m I gloomy in my post today? If life has no purpose why do I even get out of bed in the morning? Why do I go to school? Why do I blog? My response would be, why don’t you think about the “why’s”, re-think it and you will gradually see it’s not about a purpose, it’s about my survival in this new social structure I exist in. Understanding that we all just pass by this existence for a moment; we can, all we want, have an illusion of a future, scratch that — we should live each moment as if it’s our last.
When we die, it all halts.
That said, join me as I ponder on this:
If we were a Painter,
We’d paint a picture of a perfect world.
Some sort of – no evil, better world and a brightened horizon.If we are Sailors,
We’d go into the oceans, seek the calmest peace.If we were Pirates,
We’d discover the treasure lying in our dreams.If only we are Dreams,
This happens – We’d Allow every good dream come true.If We were a Promise,
We keep every of our heart-sought promisesIf we are Magicians,
We’d just snap our fingers and make all our trouble vanish —-If we are Preachers,
We say of peace, follow peace and live in peace.If we are Doctors,
We’d heal this world, prevent it from getting harm.If we are Psychics,
We’d just erase the past, go into the future and set everything right.If we are Soldiers,
We’d defend our souls, mind and body from getting any hurt.If we are Feeling down,
For this – we have the power to never be let down.If only …
If we can be these things,
If to make us Happy,
If to make us Peaceful,
If to make our World a better,
If only we can be these things.

If we are Sailors,
We’d go into the oceans, seek the most violent storms of peace.
If we were Pirates,
We’d steal the treasures lying on the shores, waiting to be taken away
If only we are Dreams,
This happens – We’d Allow every dream to come true.
If We were a Promise,
We’d break every heart-sought promise, and promise to keep the next one
If we are Magicians,
We’d just snap our fingers and make the reality vanish —-
If we are Preachers,
We say of peace, follow peace and live in peace, yet do not know the peace.
