I often catch myself wondering, what ticking in everyone’s head. Is that why everyone is so serious? School, work, relationship, even comedy clubs (ever being in line for tickets) are all serious. After all, we only have one shot at having fun in life. Those thoughts don’t usually end there, they continue in this manner:
Businessmen are serious, I’m not:
Gray and black suits, papers and jargons.
Money and plans, I can’t figure the ‘core’ out.Guys are serious, I’m not:
The love of gym and girls, sports and sex alike,
tiny-bitty aimlessness helps a long way,
some the love of power, some not – "Get out, you’re feminine!"Girls are serious, I’m not:
Those monthly times that surely come, those side talks.
Those malls and one hobby,
all like one, the looks, the shape, the guys, "It’s all about me."Love is serious, I’m not:
Guy and girls alike,
the folly of infatuates,
There are loves, there are breaks, there are more love,
a coerced circle looped.Parents are serious, I’m not:
Children and growing up, conflits and household.
This is hard – good makes, bad breaks,
never live without one.School is serious, I’m not:
The brainwashing and anxiety.
The constant urge to make us one,
you learn me, I learn you, we fuse,
some great, some not, most pseudo-civilized.Government is serious, I’m not:
Sly bureaucracy, tough men and women,
most slaves, some masters.
For the love of the spoils, "take them all!"Religion is serious, I’m not:
the places of worship and all and dispiriting,
doctrines and red tapes.
"Be still, He is in control."Life is serious I’m not:
the end result is death, the trick is in living.
Maybe I can now play some trick on people’s head and understand what everyone is so serious about

sometimes i go out n look at cars pass by. hundreds of them on highways. every car has atleast 1 person. every person knows atleast 1 other person. every person has atleast 1 thought going through their mind at 1 moment. every thought consists of atleast 1 issue….
now add up all these issues, thoughts, ppl, cars….it amazing how everything is still in one piece….

Really amazing.
If I were to have one super-power – I would ask to know that one thought that makes it all come together, so I can tap into every thought and maybe…not sure what I’d do with them, I might run crazy knowing everyone’s thoughts.

Which brings to mind: if I would wish for a super-power, I would that I can read all these thoughts. But I might go crazy – knowing what's going on in everyone's mind.
But it's amazing, it's still a piece.
